A famous musician around town, Kurt has been playing and teaching for more than 30 years. Educated at Humber College in music and took lessons at The University of Ottawa and Carleton University. He was a part of the houseband at the Rainbow Bistro in Ottawa, playing with the likes of Albert Collins, Jeff Healey, and the Blues Brothers. He won a Juno Award with Drew Nelson and was nominated for best unsigned band with the Anxtones by Musician Magazine. He is also the Musical director at the Boys and Girls club and the song writing program at the Royal Ottawa outpatient Unit.
He teaches a wide variety of instruments from Theory, Bass, Guitar and Beginner Piano.
